Joshua Bell performs the west coast premiere of Ranjbaran's Violin Concerto with San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Juraj Valčuha, conductor on April 29, 30, May1, 2021.  These performances will be at Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco. 

Ranjbaran's Violin Concerto was written for Joshua Bell who premiered the concerto with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, and subsequent American and Canadian premieres with Indianapolis and Toronto Symphonies, respectively. 

In composing his Violin Concerto, Ranjbaran drew inspiration from the traditional Persian Kamancheh, and its delicate sound. Learn more about the Violin Concerto and these performances.
